He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vernese M. Weekes; children: Marcina Franklyn, Sophia Weekes Bedeau and her husband, Emond Bedeau, Wayne Weekes and his wife, Arlene Weekes and Gordon H. Weekes, Jr. and his wife, Katriya Weekes; grandchildren: Brian Franklyn, Sapphire Weekes-Melson and her husband, Hubert Melson, III, Aliyah Weekes, Angel Bedeau, Gordon Weekes, III, Hunter Weekes, Phillip Elamin and Brianna Williams; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Vira Clarke; brothers: Arnold Weekes, Slyvan Weekes and his wife, Doris Weekes and Charles Calander; cousin, Cerylene Kirton and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation to be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Services on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Immediately followed by entombment at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014.

We were fortunate to know Mr. Weekes Sr. as a kind and gentle man. Always there for his family and his grandkids. He will surely be missed and may God be with him in heaven.
Mrs. Weekes, Jr., Katriya and family, our heart goes out to you for the loss of your dad. We know how much he meant to you. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
