She was a great friend to my dad... she took me to my first Shakespeare play where my love for him started....

I loved Mrs Gunderman and always appreciated her true passion for teaching. So much so that I became a teacher. I´ve thought of her often and I hope her family knows that she really made a difference in many, many, many of her student´s lives.

To Grace´s family,
I´m very sorry for your loss.
My mother, Clare Thompson, babysat for Grace when the girls were young.
I was in high school at the time, so I would ride to school with her when she dropped off the girls.
She was a teacher and a friend. She helped me in many ways, academically, and in life in general.
When I got my learner´s permit, she would let me drive her car to school in the morning.
She even took me to take my driver´s test, in her car, when I was ready.
She was a kind and gracious person.
Grace was a mentor and a strong, positive influence in my life.
I am grateful for her care and support.
May she rest in peace.
