Grace Marie Hawk

Grace Marie Hawk, age 72, a life-long resident of the Elmer, NJ area passed away on June 8, 2024. Born in Vineland, NJ, Marie was the daughter of the late Richard J. Helms, Sr. and Grace L. (Garrison) Helms and was a graduate of Vineland High School. Over the years, she worked at the Wawas in Vineland and drove for CJ's Bus Service for around 25 years. Marie was also a member of the Country Road Bible Church in Pittsgrove, NJ. She enjoyed shopping for bargains and hitting all of the area yard sales. Marie loved everything about being a "Mom-Mom", going to the beach and going camping with her kids and grandkids.
Marie is survived by her three sons, James T. Hawk and his wife Tiffany, Joseph P. Hawk and his wife Lauren and Eric M. Hawk and his wife Stephanie; her grandchildren Paige, J.T., Joseph S., Jenna, Hunter and Oakley; her siblings Richard Helms, Jr. and his wife Diane, Bob Helms and his wife Diane and Charlie Helms and his wife Wanda; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her boys' father, Travis H. Hawk III.
Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove, NJ. www.adamsfuneralhome.org
