Grace Lopez was born on March 10, 1965, and passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Española, NM surrounded by the love of her family. Grace's warmth, humor, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her, and her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lopez; her parents, Jose "Urban" and Agueda "Aggie" Archuleta; her sister, Darlene Archuleta; her brother, Frankie Archuleta; her brother-in-law, Manuel "Ricky" Dixon; her nephew, Ricky Dixon; and her niece, Erica "Sonya" Dixon. The memory of each of them remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Grace is survived by her children, Fabian Archuleta and Jennifer Lopez; and by her cherished grandchildren, Fabian Archuleta Jr., Estrella Mendoza, and Savannah Lopez, who were her greatest joy. Grace is survived by her sisters, Shirley Gurule (Dino Dixon), Sandra Martinez (Lorenzo), and Virginia Espinoza (Lorena); her goddaughter, Jaliyah Dixon, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply, including Frankie Dixon (Melinda), Gerald Dixon (Ashley), and Tanya Dixon.
Grace will be remembered most for her sense of humor, which brought light and laughter into every room. She was a dedicated, hardworking woman who always put her family first. Her cooking was legendary-comforting, delicious, and always made with love. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino, where she found fun, excitement, and moments to unwind.
Grace's kindness, strength, and laughter will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her love will continue to guide her family, and her memory will be cherished always.
