Grace L Murch

Grace L. (Dingman) Murch, 80, peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on August 13, 2022, surrounded in the love of her family.
Grace is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 62 years, Donald Murch, and her loving daughters Pamela Hines and Christine (Dan Flynn) Miller. Grace is also survived by her grandsons: Vincent, Dillon, Brandon, Tyler and Nicholas: great grandchildren: Blake, Blade, Valerie, Lucas and Kyler; her sisters: Evelyn Rockwell, Nancy Rutkowski, Judy (John 'Butch') Hardik, and Susan (Larry) Space, sister-in-law, Gloria (Bill) Wheeler and several nieces and nephews.
Grace was a daughter of the late Helen and William Dingman. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Don's parents, John and Ruth Murch, her siblings: John Dingman, Joan Coffin; brothers-in-law: Frank Rockwell, Zenon Rutkowski and nephews Calvin Rockwell, John, Ronald and Dan Dingman, Allen Seymour and Zenon Rutkowski, Jr.
Grace was a graduate of Mount Upton High School and Tompkins Cortland Community College. She was a former employee of Smith Corona, George Jr. Republic, Borg Warner and the Franciska Racker Center in Dryden.
Grace was committed in her faith and truly cherished her family and friends. Many will remember receiving special cards from her as well as the many, many, acts of kindness she showed to them over the years. She was delighted to be surrounded in their love as she celebrated her 80th birthday, and renewed her wedding vows with Don last year.
The family thanks Dr. Vitellas (UHS), Dr. Feitell (RGH Heart Failure Clinic) and Kim Trahan, PA at Lourdes Primary Care, and staff for the care they gave to Grace. They are also very appreciative of all who help Grace as her health declined. She so enjoyed the visits, cards, flowers and food, but most of all the friendships.
Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Thursday, August 18 from 5-7 pm and Friday from 10 am until the beginning of her service at 11 am.
