MacPherson Funeral Home - Newark ValleyMandi Parker, 49, of Owego, passed away on November 30th, 2025, at Wilson Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 18th, 1976, at Cayuga Medical Center and spent her life surrounded by family, friends, animals, and the simple joys she cherished most.
Mandi attended vocational school at Broome Tioga BOCES for cosmetology, a field that allowed her to share her warmth, and care with others. She had a natural talent for making people feel beautiful—inside and out.
A devoted and loving mother, Mandi’s greatest pride in life was her three children. She shared a deep bond with her daughters, Lydia and Courtney, and her son Shayne, who were always at the center of her world.
Mandi found joy in the things that brought life into her days: tending to her beautiful garden, caring for animals, playing guitar, and filling her home with music. Her gentle heart and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Lydia Armbruster, Courtney Parker, and Shayne Parker; her mother, Cindy Watkins Olive; her sister, Brandi Post; her aunt Sandy Watkins Parker; and a loving extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Cemetery in Newark Valley. Memories and condolences can be shared in her online guestbook at www.macphersonfh.com. The family is under the caring guidance of MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley.
