April 12th, 2025 at the age of 70Gracie Lee George was born November 24, 1954, passed away on April 12, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tommie Lee and Marcellous Mitchell Sr. Her sisters Celeste Mitchell and Rosanna Rivers. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Sammie George and her 8 children: Waymon(Michelle), Lucious(Talisha), Ralph(LaQuanda), Jamie, Santeria George, Paris(Derrick), Tempestt and Antonio and 6 siblings: Willie Mitchell, Ronnell Mitchell, Earnestine Jackson, Marcellous(Basheba), Melvin(Lynn), and Antionette Thomas.
Gracie was born in LaBelle, Florida and graduated from LaBelle High School in 1974 and graduated from Edison College in 1976. Gracie was a devoted follower of Christ and was a member of Church of Peace.
Gracie loved her family more than you could imagine, she leaves behind 33 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who will always remember the sweet love of a grandmother. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
