Grady Harold Roberts, age 86, of Hiram passed away May 24, 2025. Grady wore many hats during his lifetime. He was a Production Supervisor at Lockheed before owning Roberts Chevron in Marietta and The Country Store in Cedar Bluff, AL. Grady was a member of First Baptist Church Powder Springs, Springville Masonic Lodge 153, Yaarab Shrine for 53 years and was a founder of Paulding Shrine Club. One of the highlights of his life was when his picture was added to the Wall of Fame at Yaarab Shrine signifying he had raised in excess of $100k for the Children's hospitals. He was also a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.
Grady is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce; two daughters, Kathy (Bill) Law and Kellay (John) Kidney; four grandchildren, Blake (Holly) Law, Josh (Erin) Law, Chase Law, Alexa Kidney and three great-grandchildren, Madalyn Law, Cade Law and Gaines Law. Grady is also survived by his sister, Pat Crabbe, and several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Grady, flowers are appreciated or donations to Shriners Childrens Hospitals, 400 Ponce de Leon Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 26, from 5 until 8 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
His service will be held at First Baptist Church Powder Springs, Tuesday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Woods officiating, followed by burial at Powder Springs City Cemetery.
