Grant William Coull

Grant William Coull, 80, passed away on December 27, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born in New Haven, CT and was the son of the late John and Dorothy Coull. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, with service in Vietnam and in the Philippines. He worked with UPS starting in 1969 and retired as a supervisor many years later. Grant loved to play golf and enjoyed gambling in the casinos. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Coull. He loved his grandchildren dearly and they knew him as Poppa.
Grant is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marilyn Coull, three children, Denise Taylor and her husband Scott of Bethlehem, CT, Marc Coull and his wife Callie of Virginia Beach, and Kristy Rhodes Capobianco, and her husband Charles Walter of Hebron, MD, a sister, Cheryl Csugie and her husband Roger of Milford, CT, 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and several good friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday January 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach. H.D. Oliver Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA at www.vbspca.com, and or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
