Gregory Shane Ball, 55, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was born in Amory on July 31, 1970 to the late Lecil and Willene Maxwell Ball. Greg attended Hatley School and worked in the area furniture industry for several years. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks, fixing many vehicles through the years. Greg had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, often fixing cars for family and friends while expecting nothing in return. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Greg was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
Greg is survived by his sister, Missy Rose (Justin), Aberdeen; brother, Chris Ball (Melinda), Becker; uncle, Darris Ball (Deborah), Amory; James Joyner who was like a 2nd dad to Greg; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Ball.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory. Burial will follow in Lann Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
