Ben Gregory Baugh, 60, of Cookeville, TN, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023.
Greg, as he was known to everyone, was born June 21,1962 in Gainesboro, Tennessee to Herb and Pauletta Baugh.
Greg was a devoted son, husband, father, and friend. He loved to make everyone laugh and engage in debates. He was an avid sports fan, especially football. He enjoyed his time playing at Austin Peay University and watching his son, Ben, play throughout high school and college. He cared very deeply for others and was loved by so many. Greg worked tirelessly as a contractor in the Upper Cumberland and built many beautiful homes with the help of his daughter, Autumn. He knew his faith would carry him through.
Greg is survived by his wife of almost 26 years, Kristie Baugh; 2 children: Autumn Baugh and Ben Baugh; parents: Herb and Pauletta Baugh; brother: William Baugh III and niece McKenna Baugh; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear close friends.
Greg is preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond and Lou Bilbrey of Cookeville and Ruth Childress of Gainesboro.
Greg wished for everyone to share a story and a laugh in his honor. The family will receive friends at Crest Lawn Funeral Home Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. A graveside service for family only will be held after.
