It is with deep sadness and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Gregg Elwood Bloodworth, who left this world on May 29, 2025, in Duluth, Georgia. Born in Hialeah, Florida, to the late Harold Bloodworth and Gwendolyn Peterson, Gregg lived a full life filled with laughter, lasting friendships, and an enthusiasm for bringing people together.
As an accomplished contractor, Gregg was known for his unwavering ambition and dedication to quality, creating lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. He took great pride in his work, always striving for excellence, and his impact will be felt for years to come.
A man of many interests, Gregg found joy in traveling to the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, hunting, and playing poker with close friends. He lived for moments of connection, adventure, and the thrill of a good hand at the table. His energy was magnetic, and his ability to bring people together was one of his greatest gifts.
Gregg was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Brittney Bloodworth. Nothing brought him greater joy than being a father; Brittney was the light of his life, his greatest pride, and his constant inspiration. His love for her was immeasurable, and the bond they shared will remain forever strong.
He is survived by his daughter Brittney; siblings Ross Bloodworth and Christine Bloodworth; and other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. His presence, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Gregg's life will be held in the coming days, where friends and family will gather to honor the remarkable man he was and share stories that reflect the joy he brought into their lives. Services will take place at a location to be announced, and all who knew him are welcome to join.
Rest in peace, Gregg. Your legacy of togetherness, kindness, and the love you gave so freely will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known you.
