Greggory “Gregg” Allan Wegener, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Tris and Steve Wegener; dear brother of Kyle Wegener; cherished nephew of Lisa (Todd) Hurst; treasured cousin of Christina, Karissa, Leah, Grant, and Grace; and friend to many. Gregg is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Margaret Groeneveld, and Allan and Arlene Wegener; and his aunts, Mary Swanson and Sharon Wegener.
Gregg, an enthusiastic member of the Farmhouse Fraternity when he was a student at Mizzou, epitomized the perfect blend of athleticism and academic dedication. An avid athlete, his passion for soccer, basketball and baseball was evident in his younger years when attending Duschene High School. Gregg truly enjoyed playing with the Select teams where he known as the infamous “Triple G”. After graduation, Gregg enjoyed travelling, fishing, and spending time with friends.
Gregg's warm heart, his charismatic smile, and amiable nature endeared him to all who crossed his path, leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. Gregg's absence is deeply felt, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of many who will dearly miss him.
