In Loving Memory of Gregorio Lujan Molina, Sr. May 25, 1931 – October 21, 2025
Gregorio Lujan Molina, Sr., 94, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Gregorio lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family and his country.
Born on May 25, 1931, in Camarón, Mexico, Gregorio was the son of Pablo and Maria Molina. He spent his formative years in Mexico before relocating to Chicago, Illinois. He married the love of his life, Argelia, in Bustamante, Mexico on April 20, 1957. Together, they built a beautiful life and made their home in San Antonio, Texas.
Those who knew Gregorio remember him as a quiet and humble man with a sharp wit and an enormous heart. He cared deeply for those around him-especially his family-and found great joy in their accomplishments and companionship. Gregorio loved to travel, dine out, and visit casinos. He enjoyed watching sports-particularly baseball-and kept up with world news well into his later years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Argelia Molina, of San Antonio, Texas; three children, Diana Perri of Round Rock, Texas, Shelly Chavez (husband Mike Chavez) of San Antonio, Texas, and Gregory Molina of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren Shaun Perri (wife Veronica Perri) of Pflugerville, Texas, Kevin Perri of Round Rock, Texas, and Alan Molina of Miami, Florida; and great-grandchildren Kayla Perri of Pflugerville, Texas, and Luca Molina of Miami, Florida. He is preceded by his grandchildren, Ernest Eriche Martinez and Jessica Ann Molina and his daughter-in-law Lisa Molina. He also leaves behind many other family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life well lived-with honor, humility, humor, and love.
A Mass Service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78230. A reception will follow in the church reception hall from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
