Gregory Vincent Johnson

Gregory Vincent Johnson, of Conyers, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of 64. Mr. Johnson had a deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he cherished every moment. In his free time, he enjoyed watching television, following UFC, and connecting with friends on Facebook. A true enthusiast of the outdoors and firearms, he spent many hours shooting at Charlie Elliott, a pastime he greatly enjoyed. Mr. Johnson's family cherishes the time they got to spend with him and will always remember his selflessness. Mr. Johnson will also be remembered for his passions, his laughter, and the love he shared with his family.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Clayton Donald; and uncle, Billy Ray Ferguson.

Survivors include his spouse, Melissa Johnson; mother, Barbara Donald-Shiflett; children, Kathryn Terrell (Drew),Jonathan Johnson (Kyra); grandchildren, Baylor Terrell, Jayce Johnson; siblings, Joey Johnson, Sherry Cecconi, Debbie Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Johnson will be held, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 4:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit the family at the funeral home one hour prior to his service from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M.
