Greg Paulson passed away October 3, 2025 at home, with his wife Sally at his side. He was born October 1, 1956 on a military base in Victorville, California. During his father's time in the air force the family moved several times, finally settling on the family farm property in Delhi, California when Greg was a teenager.
Greg graduated from Turlock High School in 1975. After studying at MJC, he soon found his true passion in farming the family property, which he did for over 30 years.
Greg met his lovely wife Sally in 1977. They married in 1980, settled in Turlock and went on to enjoy 45 years of marriage. He would tell you his proudest accomplishment in life was helping to raise his three children, Tim, Emily, and Jeremy, helping out with baseball, boy scouts and other activities. He also loved his animals. He was never without at least one dog and cat by his side, which was a great comfort to him during his illness.
Greg's love language was feeding people. Family looked forward every year to getting his home-grown fruits and vegetables, and he was the official family BBQ chef for all events. He loved the outdoors and had many fond memories of camping and water skiing (which he did amazingly well) with his family. He was an avid fisherman for most of his life and spoke often about how he looked forward to teaching his grandchildren to fish. One of Greg and Sally's shared interests was music and they often attended concerts together.
Greg is survived by his wife Sally (Bill) Paulson, his parents Philip and Arlene Paulson, his brother Doug (Jodi) Paulson, his three children; Tim Paulson, Emily Alvarez (Juan), and Jeremy Paulson, and one grandchild, Jayden Alvarez.
Greg's family will hold an intimate celebration of his life at a future date. If desired, friends may make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society.
