Gregory Pogue Obituary

Keep me in your heart for a while (Warren Zevon)

Greg Paul Pogue peacefully passed away surrounded by family, friends and much love on August 19, 2025. He is now praising his Savior face to face and eagerly receiving his bear hug from Ian. Greg lived a full life as a husband, father, science nerd, music trivia historian and guitar player. He was a remarkable man who loved his family, Jesus, science, business academics, loud concerts, dogs and serene nature but most importantly, people.

A verse that he wished to share is John 14: 1-6 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

His legacy is marked by an imprint of love on those who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Please know that there will be no memorial service. His celebration of life service was perfect in May.

In lieu of plants or flowers, consider a donation to a charity close to your own heart.
