Gregory Steele, age 66 of Estill Springs, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1955 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Fred Steele and Kathryne Bramlett Steele. He was a US Navy veteran who had served his country in Vietnam and had retired from SPM as a CNC Engineer. A cancer survivor, Gregory had a great work ethic and would help anyone he could. He loved his puppies, music, riding his Harley and grilling outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Steele and his beloved dog, Jack. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Trina Steele; children, Melody Majors, Brian Steele, Jeanna Ramey and Johnny Neal; grandchildren, Drew Alexis, Abby Kay, Blake Sluder, Dylan Nicholson, Leslie Nicholson, Tyler Nicholson and Kaleb Nicholson; 5 great-grandchildren; special friends, Monte Coble, Rae Coble, Clay Felver and Neil (Jeanette) Felver; sister-in-law, Rea Hindman; and beloved dogs, Ace and Max.
