Gregory Humphreys Williams, 76, of Hebron, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. Born in Salisbury, Maryland, Gregg was the son of the late Elmer and Anna Williams.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Williams; his son, Doug Williams (Sue); and his stepchildren, Leslie Blair, Scott Penner (Jackie), Amy Lawrence (Mike), and Megan Cannon (Nick). Gregg was a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Phil Williams (Denise) and was predeceased by his sister, Anita Robertson.
A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, Gregg dedicated his career to serving others - beginning as a technician and rising to District Conservationist with NRCS in Somerset, Worcester, and Wicomico Counties, Maryland and Loudoun County, Virginia, before his retirement. His lifelong love of farming reflected not only his deep respect for the land but also his steadfast work ethic and appreciation for the simple, meaningful things in life.
Gregg will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family and his farm.
