Stephen Allen Grant of Wicomico County passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Steve was born on July 31, 1947, in New Hampshire and was the son of the late Lindell A. Grant and Barbara Ruth Mertens.
Stephen was a proud veteran. He was also the founder and owner of Credit Plus, Inc., a leading nationwide provider of business credit reports and other mortgage products headquartered in Salisbury, Maryland.
Steve was an avid equestrian who fox hunted for years with the Wicomico County Hunt Club, earning his colors as a Red Coat, which signified an experienced and distinguished rider. Steve was a lifelong lover of animals, particularly his dogs, Valentine and Radar, and his cat Sasha.
Steve was passionate about boating and served as Commodore at the Wicomico Yacht Club. He loved golf and tennis and played daily. Steve was very competitive in chess and could spend evenings playing. Steve was a happy man who loved life and had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Stephen and his beloved wife Galina lived happily on their beautiful horse farm "Emma's Breeze," named after his first horse, Emma.
Stephen Allen Grant is survived by his wife Galina Dulashko Grant, his sons Steven D. and Jacob Grant, his stepson Mikhail Dulashko, his sisters Janet Tucker and Debbie Pare, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
