Greta Diane Elrod, age 49, of Cumming, GA passed away on Dec. 9, 2023. She battled Interstitial Lung
Disease for the last 5 years and fought a long hard battle in and out of the hospital.
Greta was preceded in death by her father, Robert Elrod, mother and stepfather Retha and Robert
Rodgers. Grandparents William “Bill” and Ina Elrod, and Sam and Eva Inez Dean. Sister Lillian Inez
Knight and nephew Dustin Lamar Blackburn.
She is survived by her daughters Hannah Elrod of Cumming, GA and Angel Rodgers (AJ White)
Woodstock, GA. Her sisters and brother-in-law Melissa Bradley Dawsonville, GA and Samantha (Tim)
Anderson Cumming, GA. Also surviving are her two granddaughters Adelle (AJ) Manning, and Airyelle
Manning of Cumming, GA and her precious fur baby Lilia. 3 aunts and 1 uncle also survive along with 3
nieces, 3 nephews and 4 great nieces and 3 great nephews and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Reid Barn in Cumming, GA.
