Gwendolyn Vining Markley Obituary

Born Thursday, December 7, 1933, in Berlin, PA, she was the daughter of the late George D. White Sr. and the late Ilga (White) Patterson.
Gwendolyn was a graduate of Hagerstown High School, class of 1951. She was the owner and operator of The Memorable Years and loved all things antique.
She is survived by her children, Gregory A. Vining, Kimberly A. Bishop, Michelle R. Raichel, Diana M. Vining, Tana L. Breeden, and Kristopher L. Reeves; sister, Joyce A. McCoy; 13 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Clare "Audie" Markley; sons, Richard Franklin Vining, Jr. and Thomas R. Reeves; and brother, G. David White.
Services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Clear Spring, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
