Connie Louise Daley, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Born Tuesday, August 20, 1935, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Jacob Kershner and the late Isabelle Jeanette (Knodle) Kershner.
Connie was a 1953 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a lifelong, devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served on many committees throughout the years. Following the war, she began her career at Fairchild as a wiring expert. Over the course of her life, she dedicated herself to her community through various entrepreneurial ventures, owning and operating several local businesses including Connie's Subs, Broadway Video, VIP Mobility, and Prestige Motorcar. She also enjoyed antiques and flea markets, memorable trips to Disney World, and touring Pittsburgh, PA with her dear friend Pat. She also gave generously of her time to her community, including helping coordinate the Katrina Relief Effort in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hutzell; granddaughters, Katie and Julie Hutzell; close friends, Pat and Janice Mayhew, and Barron Ford.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Ernest Daley, Sr. and her son, William Ernest Daley, Jr.
Services and interment will be held privately with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
