Haley Mae Allen, a beacon of love and selfless joy, passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 22. Born on April 10, 2002, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Haley's infectious spirit and adventurous nature were evident from her earliest days. Her life, though tragically cut short by an automobile accident, was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community.
Haley grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, Joseph and Paula Jo Allen, her brother Hunter Allen, and her grandparents, Ronald and Peggy Allen and Joseph and Pauline Orlando. Her extended family included Uncle Michael Orlando and his wife Kelly, and Aunt Stephania Allen. They each have fond memories of the times that they spent with her.
From birth she attended church with her parents. She started at the Brighton Church, Haley and her family also attended the South Lyon Church where she was baptized at the age of 8. Later they attended the 242 Community Church where Haley sang on Sunday's for the pre-teens upon graduating high school. Haley's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her commitment to service and community was reflected in her active involvement with the 4H club and the Girl Scouts. Haley's passion for teamwork and leadership shone brightly through her participation on the Cheer Team, Soccer, Gymnastics, and Dance groups, where she not only honed her skills but also forged lasting friendships and inspired others with her enthusiasm.
Those who knew Haley will remember her as the epitome of a loving soul, always putting others before herself. Her adventurous spirit led her to embrace life's challenges with grace and courage. Haley's selfless acts, whether big or small, left a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. She had an unwavering relationship with nature. She loved animals and they loved her. She was often found caring for or rescuing animals on a regular basis.
As we mourn the loss of Haley Mae Allen, we also celebrate the short but remarkable life she lived. Her legacy is one of love, adventure, and selflessness-a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. Haley's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary spirit.
Haley's life was a beautiful journey that was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and an abundance of love. As we bid her farewell, we take solace in knowing that her light will never fade from our lives.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Haley's Life will be held 4:30 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024 at South Lyon Church of Christ.
