Hannah Elizabeth O'Rourke (nee: Boylan)of Lawrence by way of , Dernagad, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, Ireland, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Dennis(Liz), Patricia (Ray), daughter in law Maryann (Kevin), grandchildren, Corinne (Rick), Jamie, Joseph (Nicole), Andrew, and Ashley, great-grandchildren, Kevin & Natasha, sister Bridie (Ireland) and many nieces and nephews. Hannah was the Daughter of Owen & Mary Ann Boylan (dec). Predeceased by her husband, Dennis, son, Kevin, siblings, Peggy, Michael, Jimmy, HenryOwen. Hannah's greatest joy was making her home a Ceili House, a place where family, friends and newcomers would gather.

Hannah had a deep connection to her Catholic Faith, where she attended St. Joachim's Parish since her arrival into the United States in 1955. She was an active member in the Irish-American Society of Nassau, Suffolk & Queens for over 50yrs, and was actively involved with the A.O.H., Division 3. Her homemade brown bread was legendary, along with her back yard get togethers, her Santa Claus collection and her big hugs and kisses.

The memories, laughter and love she gave to all, will forever remain in our hearts.
