Hans lived in Menomonee Falls. In his retirement, he moved to Elcho.
Survivors include his wife Carol; two sons, Ryan (Melissa) Mayer of Hubertus and Eric (Shannon) Mayer of Cedarburg; three grandchildren, Gavin, Stella, and Everett; a
brother, Axel (Cindy) Mayer; two sisters, Gisela (Gerald) Kaltz and Rosemarie (Jeff) Kelly; his mother-in-law, Joann Doering of Milwaukee; and his best friend, Bandit.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rolf Mayer; and a sister, Cornelia Mayer.
No services will be held.
