Harley L. Anderson, 83, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 2, 2025. Born on June 25, 1941, he was the beloved son of the late John E. and Ethel A. (Guile) Anderson. Harley was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 56 years, Anna (Poirier) Anderson. He is survived by his children: Douglas J. & Cindy Anderson of Mapleville, Rhode Island, and Jeffrey S. & Peggy Anderson of Zephyrhills, Florida. He also leaves behind his devoted sister, Rosemary Garofolo of East Hampton, Connecticut; grandchildren Jaylene, Mary, Krystina, Emily, and Seth; step-grandchildren Derek and Dana; and great-grandchildren Demitrius, Ethan, Savannah, Makayla, Owen, Reis, Cole, Henley, Brylee, and Noah-Scott. He also had a great great grandson. Harley was preceded in death by his siblings Bun, Claire, Warren, and his twin brother Hartley. For over 35 years, Harley worked as a skilled machinist at Windsor Manufacturing. He was a proud member of the Masons and an active resident of the Shady Oaks community for 21 years, where he served as both vice president and president. Known for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need, Harley was the neighbor and friend everyone hoped for. Whether someone needed a tool or a helping hand, Harley was there. His dearest lifelong friends included Jack Gibson, Danny Robitelle, Gerry & Connie Cooley, and Pam Procter - each of whom held a special place in his heart. Harley's life was rich with love, laughter, and deep family bonds. He took immense pride in being a grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. His legacy is one of kindness, dedication, intelligence, and quiet strength. All who knew him was blessed to have had Harley in their lives. Per the family's wishes, services will be held at a later date. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Harley, please visit our floral store.
