HARMONY ROWLAND

JUNE 18, 1978 - JULY 18, 2025

Harmony Rowland (Pineau), wife of Christopher Rowland and daughter of Barbara Pineau-Robinson, passed away peacefully at the Aroostook House of Comfort after losing her battle with cancer. To say she fought courageously is an understatement and if you knew her, you would agree. Harmony was a fierce warrior, staying strong, brave and hopeful until the end, she died as she had lived.

Harmony is survived by her husband Chris Rowland who cared for her around the clock from the moment she was diagnosed. If love and devotion were a cure, she would be with us today as she was his world and he made sure every single day that she knew it. She is also survived by her mum Barb Pineau-Robinson and her husband Danny Robinson. Her mum fought tirelessly beside her as a strong advocate from start to finish, ensuring Harmony got the best care and was treated with dignity. She is also survived by her aunt Linda Tate who ensured Harmony had the opportunity to make many memories along her journey. Linda was a second mom to her and death cannot break the bond they share. Harmony's daughters Alyvia, Mackala, and Madison brought her a great deal of pride, and she loved them completely. Alyvia was a devoted daughter, always doing all she could for her mum until the end. Madison made sure that our beautiful Harmony remained manicured with special spa sessions whenever she was feeling well enough. And Mackala lived life to its fullest always making her mum proud. But the light of Harmony's life was her granddaughter, Ollie. Ollie loved her Gigi more than anything and she loved her more in return. Harmony's life took on a whole new purpose when she was blessed with Ollie.

Also surviving are her sister Shena Pineau and brother Buck Pineau, grandparents Ralph Doyle (Harm was his favorite), and Gloria Richardson, her cousins Kirk and Joanne Doyle and Tucker and Tiffany Bonnevie as well as her nieces Grace Robinson and Zoey Pineau and her nephew Buck Ezra Pineau.

Harmony had many friends and acquaintances who loved her dearly and she loved them, but none more than her best and truest friends April Gardiner Calvin Bradley, and Marshall Hersey, all of whom were a comfort to her until the end. April and Harmony were inseparable, and you didn't find one without the other, sister soul mates they were.

Harmony was pre-deceased by her friend Mark who she cared and advocated for throughout his life. Also, by her sister Nicole, her aunt Tina, and father-in-law David.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St. Presque Isle, where a time of sharing will begin at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Harmony in a special way may make gifts in her memory payable to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, ME 04769. This would please her as Harmony lived her life caring for those she loved. Harmony was a unique woman and if you were fortunate enough to be part of her circle, you know her voice, laugh, craziness, and dedication to you cannot be replaced…. So, in her memory, make good choices, live life just being kind, with as little shenanigans / dumbfuckery as possible!
