Mr. Harold Dean Cassity, age 84, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Harold was born on October 18, 1940 in Lafayette, TN to the late, Oakley Lovell Cassity and the late Edith Mae (King) Cassity. He is also preceded in death by 3 siblings, Donnie, Paul and Bobby Cassity.
He is survived by 2 children; Larry Cassity (Charlotte) of Franklin, KY and Cathy Eaton (John) of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Eaton (Cassie) and Lauren Eaton; a great granddaughter, Merryn Eaton; 2 sisters; Linda Link (Teddy) of Huntington Beach, CA and Faye Forshee of Franklin, KY; 2 sister-in-laws, Linda Cassity and Jo Carolyn Cassity; several nieces and nephews.
Harold attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a Mason. In his free time he enjoyed NASCAR, talking to people, driving the roads and he was an avid UK and WKU sports fan.
