A Celebration of Life Service for Harold D. "Hal" Johnson age 81 of Enid will be 10:00 am Saturday with Erik Granberg officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Hal was born October 6, 1944 in Shawnee, OK
Hal served in the United States Air Force and retired after 27 years. He was a Simulator Instructor for 15 years, Dorm Manager for 2 years and First Sergeant for 9 years. He worked for the U. S. Postal Service and retired after 18 years.
He married his first wife Jean Smith, and he later married Helen Runion on December 31, 1977 and she passed away August 16, 2018. Hal and Helen loved OU football and they were all decked out at the games. He was a member of North Garland Church of Christ.
Hal is survived by children; Chris Johnson and wife Sheryl, Bryan Johnson, Christi Kuykendall and her husband Greg, and Dawn Parker and her husband Mark. Hal had 11 grandchildren, Jessica Alvarez; Kaci Ford and her husband Alan; Kyle Kuykendall and his wife Elizabeth; Ashley Hobbs; Justin Alvarez and wife Chloe; Austin Hobbs and his wife Cherokee; Taver Parker and his wife Shannon; Joshua Johnson and wife Sommer; Chase Parker; Skylar Parker; Wilmer Ayala; 16 great-grandchildren, brother Gary Johnson and sister Gloria Ryan.
Preceded in death by Cheri Alvarez, 2 great grandchildren and brother Terry Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Lupus/Rheumatoid Arthritis/Diabetes divisions with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.
