A funeral service for Harold L. Looney, Jr., 77, of Grandview, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 North Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, Texas 76033. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
Harold L. Looney, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Grandview, Texas. Born on December 3, 1947, in Jacksboro, Texas, Harold was a man whose love for his family and friends knew no bounds.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Looney, Sr. and Ida Looney, and his daughter, Janette Connor.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Gloria Looney, his sons, Scott Looney and his wife Alma, and Tommy Taylor and partner Saga; daughters, Tonya Clapp and her husband Kevin, Lisa Looney and her partner Craig, and Jennifer Walling. Harold's legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Ashley Clapp, Allison Clapp, Stephanie Kresta, and Jacob Walling; great-grandchildren, Hunter Kresta and Kason Kresta.
Harold L. Looney, Jr. leaves behind a rich tapestry of love, shared memories, and countless stories that will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will undoubtedly be felt in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.
