HAROLD ROBERT MARLIN Jr., also know by Chip, age 79, of Pemberton, NJ passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center Hospice unit in Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Upper Darby, PA, June 13, 1946, to Harold and Louise Marlin. He graduated from Pemberton Township High School and then served in the US Navy as a Radio Man in 1967-1968 with honorable discharge due to his father's early demise who was also a military veteran during WWII. Harold earned a Bachelors in Communications for Radio, Film and Television from Temple University in 1992. He was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. He worked varied jobs throughout his life but was able to leverage his passion and his degree that he earned to work in the industry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a Video Producer/Editor. At times he also leaned on his Navy electronics training to be a Electronics Technician/Tester for companies like Bendix and SAIC.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol (nee Thompson) Marlin, his son Shiloh Marlin and wife Victoria, his son Shawn Marlin and wife Adele and his son Shay Marlin and wife Lindy. He is also survived by grandchildren Samantha, Liam, Serena and Cole, his sister Charlotte, brother Fred and sister Marion. He is preceded in death by his sister Margrett.

At this time there is no viewing or funeral services planned. As his remains have been cremated, there will be an internment held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery with date and time to be determined but the family plans to complete this in the springtime. You can return here for updates.
