Viola Marie “Vi” Beatty, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on October 7, 2025 at Altercare at Lanfair.
Vi was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flowers, bird watching (which recently included squirrels), and loved her family.
She is survived by her son, Gregg Myers; daughter, Beverly (James) Wilson; grandson, Keith (Michelle) Bost; and great granddaughter, Audrey Bost.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Beatty; daughter, Brenda Myers; daughter-in-law, Ginny Myers; brothers, Melvin and Gerald Carpenter; and parents, Walter ad Ermel Carpenter.
A funeral service officiated by pastor Al Debelak will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10 AM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Hamburg Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 3-5 PM at the funeral home on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 2704 Boving Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
