Harold E. Scott, age 71, a respected figure in the funeral service profession, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his residence. Born on Tuesday, June 24, 1952, in Tippah County, Mississippi, he was the son of Aubrey and Beulah Campbell Scott.
Harold's passion for his life in funeral service spanned over many decades. He dedicated himself to offering solace and comfort to countless families during their most challenging times. His compassion and unwavering commitment made him an exceptional professional in his life calling.
In addition to his professional achievements, Harold was known for his fun-loving nature and sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and often lightened the mood with his wit and playful antics. His organizational skills were regarded by those who knew him well. He lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his career.
Outside of work, Harold found joy in pursuing various hobbies and interests. Golfing was one of his favorite pastimes; he cherished the opportunity to connect with friends while enjoying the serene beauty of the golf course.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His loving wife, Ann, was there by his side throughout his life. Her unwavering support and companionship were sources of strength for Harold. His brother, Danny Scott of Covington, TN, mourns the loss of a dear sibling. Their bond was unbreakable, and Danny will forever cherish the memories they created together.
SERVICE: The visitation in remembrance of Harold’s life will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors. It will serve as an opportunity for family, friends, and acquaintances to pay their respects and celebrate the impact Harold had on their lives. The graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Hills Gardens, Germantown Road, Memphis, TN.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be directed to the Morgan L.
