Harold Franklin Wiley, affectionately known as Frank, was born on May 3, 1961, in Newark, Ohio, where he grew up and lived for 64 years. A man of adventure, loyalty, creativity, and humor, Harold's life was characterized by his love for his family, his dogs, and his hobbies. As a landscaper by trade, Harold's creativity shone through in his work, making every project unique. His adventurous spirit was evidenced in his love for bike riding, fishing, and working on cars. Harold was a man who found joy in the simple act of fixing things, a trait that spoke to his dedication and loyalty to the people and things he cared about.
Harold had a great love for his family and his dogs, a love that was reciprocated tenfold. His loyalty was as steadfast as his sense of humor was infectious, making him a beloved figure within his family and community. His family remembers him as a funny man who had a knack for collecting nick-nacks and old coins, a testament to his unique and engaging personality. Despite his status as a divorcee, Harold maintained a loving relationship with his ex-wife, Teresa Travis. His family was extensive and included two sons, Michael and Brandon Wiley, a daughter, Crystal Baker, two sisters, Golda Grimm and Pamela Perkins, a brother, Paul Wiley, along with twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Harold is survived by his sons, Michael (Amanda) Wiley and Brandon Wiley; his daughter, Crystal (David) Baker; his sisters, Golda (Harley) Grimm and Pamela (Tom) Perkins; his brother, Paul (Sherry) Wiley; his ex-wife, Teresa Travis; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rita Wiley, and his brother, Earl Wiley, and sister-in-law, Sharon Wiley.
Harold's life was full of laughter, love, and adventure. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Harold to his memorial page, celebrating his life and the joy he brought to those around him.
