Aunt Hat and my Father, Gordon Davidson, met in Church and grew up together. I actually grew up right behind the house she grew up in. I have so many fond memories of her. She was always a constant in my life.
When I got married, she redecorated the room my gifts were in and displayed them all! She had great taste. The room was stunning!
She continued to stay in touch with my Brother and I after our Parents were gone.
I remember she always wore high heels! Well into her 80´s and beyond. I was so impressed!
She will be greatly missed. Much love to you all!
Fondly,
Sally Davidson Rhodes

Aunt Harriet was a close family friend from my early years across the street on Lotis Way through next door on Woodside Road. Her welcoming attitude and caring made her and her home a welcome refuge for me and many others. She inspired friendship and sweetness. Every interaction ended with smiles. I send my condolences to Vic, Verser, and Gordon. I´ll miss your Mom.

Aunt Harriet often recounted a visit to our family in New Jersey when I was almost 5. I wanted to go home to Louisville with her, she gently told me that wasn´t possible. I was so sad, so mad, and told her what was for me the worst punishment. She couldn´t come to my birthday party. She was speechless, then just laughed and hugged me. We moved next door to her three years later, an answer to my dreams.
Harriet was the sweetest person I´ve ever known, and her laugh, like when she would recount that story, was magical. She was my godmother, and I loved her dearly.

The Moore's send Vic, Verser and Gordi and their families our deepest condolences over the passing of their beloved mother and to use our " Aunt Harriet ". So many happy memories from our time as toddlers in the mid '50s, trips to State Parks on the '60s and till now. Aunt Harriet was always joyful, encouraging and interested in our lives and those of our families. She and husband Vic were best of friends with our parents. Harriet was very supportive of Mom and Dad when we lost Annie. New Years Eve at Woodside was one ot the highlights of my parents' year.
May both your parents rest in peace.
