Harriet E. McGregor age 82 of Mapleton passed away Wednesday November 20, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Private family service will be held. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Mapleton.
Harriet was born December 6, 1941 to Harvey and Hazel (Stennis) Thompson in Clarks Grove, Minnesota. She graduated from Albert Lea High School. She was united in marriage to William McGregor Sr. on November 13, 1960. Harriet was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gardening, canning and pressing her luck at Jackpot and Diamond Joe’s casinos
Harriet is survived by her three children, Jacqueline (David Ellis) McGregor of Mankato, William McGregor Jr. of Morristown, Richard (Carrie) McGregor of Janesville; nine grandchildren, Lukas (Heather), Lindsay (Christopher), Cory (Katie), Madysen (Braiden), Dylan, Danielle, Derik, Kolten, Trevin; six great-grandchildren, Carter, Peighton, Isla, Faith, Micah, Abram; three brothers, Harlan Thompson of Albert Lea, Howard Thompson of Albert Lea, Harold (Diane) Thompson of Silverdale, Washington; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, William McGregor Sr. December 17, 2014.
