Gerald “Gary” Cedric Hager, age 91, of Madison Lake passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Private burial with military honors will be held in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gary was born on April 27, 1934 to Cedric and Mildred (Wondra) Hager in Mankato. He was married to his loving wife, Delores for 56 years until her passing in 2012. Together they were blessed with three children. Gary lived for his grandchildren, and the Green Bay Packers.
Left to cherish his memory is his children, Deborah (David Schmidt) Ginter, Tamara Hager, and Barry (Susie) Hager; grandchildren, Tonya (Adam) Morsching, Tara (Dennis Ernsting) Ginter, Kelli Cline, Chad (Kayla) Hager, Derek (Josie) Hager, and Daniel (Megan) Hager; great-grandchildren, Aurelia Mae Hager, Dennis Edward Ginter-Ernsting, Nolan Chad Hager, Ainsley Jean Hager, Jax Michael Hager, Collette Marie Hager, Rory Daniel Hager, Owen Charles Dominic, and brother, John “Jack” (Verna) Hager.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Hager; parents, Cedric and Mildred Hager, and son-in-law, Edward Ginter.
