Gregory P. Hager, 52, of Boone, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 10, 2025.
A family conducted Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden has been entrusted with arrangements.
Gregory Paul Hager, son of E.J. and Maxine (Mullins) Hager was born on June 7, 1973, in Boone, Iowa. He graduated from Ogden High School with the Class of 1993. During his school years, Greg enjoyed theatre. After high school he participated in plays at DMACC in Boone. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, and target shooting. Greg was currently a Driver for Railcrew Xpress transporting railroad employees to their job assignments in the region.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his sister, Kathy Rochholz of DeSoto, Iowa; his brother, Doug Hager of Boxholm, Iowa; five nieces and nephews, Alex Rochholz, Evan Hager, Dillon Hager, Brandon Hager and Sophronia Hager; and two great nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Kathy Rochholz, 220 Elm Street, De Soto, IA 50069, in memory of Greg.
