Harry Clifford Christian, 91, of West Salem, passed away August 30, 2025 at his home.
Harry was born March 20, 1934 in Rittman, Ohio to Everett and Fern {Steele} Christian.
He married the love of his life Loretta Yeagley on May 26, 1957.
Harry served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He retired from Akron Brass after 30 years. Harry was an avid outdoors man, trapper, hunter, and fisherman. He was a baseball coach for little league in Congress. Harry drove the school bus for the Northwestern School District.
Harry will be deeply missed by his wife Loretta; sons William (Kathy) Christian of Polk, Robert Christian of Congress, James Christian of Virginia, David Christian of West Salem, Randy and Rodney Christian of West Salem; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, Albert, Kenneth, and Larry, sons Jeffrey and Daniel Christian, and grandsons Scott Christian and Adam Christian.
Friends may call Friday September 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Harry-Christian). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
