It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harry M. Rudio III, who died surrounded by his family on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, at the age of 66.

Harry was born on August 11, 1959 in Elizabeth, NJ to Harry M. Rudio Jr. and Jean Marie Rudio (Trudell). He was a beloved husband, father, sibling, grandparent, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Rudio (Negri), whom he was together with for 48 years and were high school sweethearts, his daughters Catharine Behrenshausen and Melanie Rudio, son in law, Derek Behrenshausen, and grandchildren, Carter and Chloe Behrenshausen. His brother Gary Rudio and his wife, Patti. His brother in laws, Anthony Negri Jr and wife, Maureen, Jack Negri and wife, Cathi, and sister in laws, Dr. MaryJean Negri, Mary Atkinson and husband, Robert, Eileen Gedicke and husband, Ken. And many wonderful nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Jean Rudio Jr. and inlaws, Anthony and Marion Negri Sr, brother in law, Frank Negri, and nephew, Josh Negri.

Harry was a graduate from Morristown High School class of 1978, hooker for the Morris Rugby Club, 7th degree blackbelt in Isshinryu Karate, skilled heavy machine operator since he was 18 for George Mohr and then Andrew Hall Plumbing. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time in the Adirondacks with family and friends.

Harry will be remembered for his love and commitment to family and friends, work ethic and telling stories.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 7, 2025 from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main Street (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday October 8th, at 10 AM in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church #48 Tranquility Road Andover, NJ. All who knew and loved Harry are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Harry's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org Online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com Harry will live forever in our hearts.
