Hazel Davis Neely

Hazel Davis Neely, 96, of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away November 3, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1926 in LaGrange, Georgia to her late parents, Robert Lovic and Minnie Johns Davis. She worked at Fort McPherson in East Point Georgia for over 20 years. After retiring she worked for the Merchandise Mart in Atlanta, Georgia. For the last 26 years, she has been a member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church where she has enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Burrell Jennings Neely; sons, Stephen, and Kenneth (Doc) Neely, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Marianne and Michael White; grandsons, Brandon, Matthew, and Chad; granddaughter, Ashleigh; and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, Georgia. Burial will follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, Georgia. Family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00 – 10:30 AM at the church.
