Heath Andrew Jackson went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2024, at 3:10 in the afternoon surrounded by family and friends due to complications from a bacterial infection. Heath was born in Temple, Texas on February 17, 1986, to Terry and Dana Jackson. He has lived in the Belton/Temple area his entire life. Heath proudly served his country in the United States Army from 2004-2014, which included deployment three times to Afghanistan and Iraq. Heath was employed by the Texas Department of Transportation, a job he truly loved. He enjoyed a close relationship with the entire crew.
Heath loved the outdoors and was most happy working on his "dream come true" land and home. He loved to work with his hands and was very creative with all of his many projects. If anyone ever needed help or something built, Heath was always there when called upon. His two boys were his pride and joy. Heath was the best dad. He was very hands-on and whatever project he was working on at the time, he included the boys in helping him, whether it was clearing land, building a porch, fixing a tractor, or just chilling out; the boys were always at his side.
Heath was preceded in death by his aunt Donna Jackson.
Heath is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 15 years, Robyn Jackson; sons, Caleb Jackson, age 9 and Collin Jackson, age 6; parents, Terry and Dana Jackson of Belton; brother, Eli Jackson and wife Robyn of Temple; sister, Kelci Jackson of San Antonio; grandparents, Wayne and Nell Jackson of Belton, and Sammy and Nita Davis of Bruceville. Heath was adored by his in-laws who loved him like a son. He was also greatly loved by numerous cousins, nieces, a nephew, and extended family members. He also had a very close and loyal bond with several of his "battle buddies". (you know who you are)
Heath was generous in life and will be generous in death, as his organs will be saving the lives of those in need.
