Hebron Bowling

Hebron Bowling finished his earthly journey and began walking the streets of gold on November 20, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on July 26, 1951, one of 16 children born to Taylor and Lela Hammons Bowling.

On November 23, 1968, Hebron was united in marriage to the former Dixie Hawkins. He was a devoted member of Bethel Apostolic Church. Hebron was simple man that was devoted to taking care of Dixie and their son, Anthony. He retired from Ford/Visteon after 25 years of service and went on to work at NSK in Liberty for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and maintaining his yard. He valued his faith and family above all.

His devotion and love will be cherished by his wife of 57 years, Dixie and their son Anthony. He will be lovingly missed by his sisters, Alla Lee Hamilton, Sue (Elem) Wohlwend, Grecia Hamilton and Bethel Darlene Lucas; brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Bowling, David (Fay) Bowling, Caleb (Fran) Bowling and James Micah (Sheila) Bowling; a special niece, Kim Pegg as well as many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was welcomed into heaven by his daughter, Patricia Bowling; grandson, Matthew Bowling; sisters, Lorene Rush and Dorcus Bowling; and brothers, Walter Bowling, Donald Bowling, John D. Bowling and Benjamin Bowling.

Funeral services for Hebron will be held at Bethel Apostolic Church, 2229 Iowa Ave, Connersville on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the church. Hebron will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.
