He was preceded in death by his grandmother Olga Mejias, his father, Carlos Mejias, his sister, Maria Chance, and his infant son, Preston Ross-Mejias.
He is survived by his daughter, Ryleigh, his two sons, Ayden and Nathanial. His partner of fifteen years, Jessica of Nash County, NC, two sisters, Angelique of Brooklyn NY, and Marcella of Durham, NC and three brothers, Carlos of New Bern, NC, Julio of Brooklyn, NY, and his twin, Patrick of Florida.
Hector was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend and he was amazing at everything he did in life. An infamous martial artist, a self-taught musician, a writer, a chef, a nutritionist, and so much more.
Goodbye, and thank you for everything, Hector. We'll carry you with us, always. Rest peacefully. We'll love you forever. Until we meet again.
We will be having a private memorial service followed by a celebration of his life starting at twelve o'clock, August 30, 2025. Please reach out to Marcella, [email protected], or Jessica, [email protected] for details.
