Helen Emily was born on July 9, 1937, in Marion County, Indiana, to Dudley Milton and Emma Lou Hutcheson. She passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at her home surrounded by loved ones on July 11, 2025.
Helen married Richard Breeden on June 17, 1966. Together they raised six (6) children. She loved to play Bridge. Her greatest passion was her family and her faith. Helen loved to spend time at the lake, watching Antique Road Show and supporting the Oklahoma City Thunder. She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for 60 plus years.
Helen is survived by daughter, Debbie Bray and husband Eddie Bray, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her son, Gary Duren, of Bixby, Oklahoma; her daughter, Cindy Wood and husband, Mike Wood, of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma; her daughter, Vicki Womack and husband, David Womack, of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and her daughter, Jody Breeden-Montgomery, of Choctaw, Oklahoma. She was blessed with eleven (11) grandchildren: Lainie Cocannouer (Wood); Evan Bray; Season Crabtree (Hill); Grady Wood; Colin Bray; Emily Samarripa (Duren), Crosby Bray; Carson Bray, Breeden Montgomery and Dawson Montgomery. Helen also had eleven (11) great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, husband, son, Tony Breeden; and grandson, Logan Hill.
A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 6:00p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, located at 1107 Felix Place, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23, at 11:00a.m., also at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Interment will follow the service at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery located at 7801 N.W. Expressway, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
We find comfort in knowing that our mother's legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the love she shared with all who knew her, and the memories that we will cherish forever.
