Helen Cocus Obituary

Mrs. Cocus was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp., and was a member of the First Methodist Church, Rich Creek, VA.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel E. Cocus; seven brothers and one sister. Survivors include one daughter, Vanessa Alexander from Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Kevin A. Alexander II, Philip Alexander, Ashley Psathos, and Vo Dickerson; and four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Meyers, Daniel Stewart, Hunter Dickerson, and Alley Dickerson.
Viewing services for local family and friends will be held from 4:00PM until 6:00PM on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV. Immediate family will have a private ceremony in South Carolina. Burial will be at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rich Creek, VA.
