Helen Jones Obituary
She moved to Fort Worth in 1951 where she met and married the one and only love of her life, Robert Jones. Together, they had three children: Bobby, Linda and Tommy.
Helen enrolled in Texas Wesleyan in 1959. In only two years, she graduated with her bachelors degree. She began teaching in 1961 in the Hurst – Euless – Bedford School District.
She continued her education and earned her masters degree. She retired after 30 years. During this time, she started a catering business, specializing in wedding, retirements, and birthdays. She returned to the classroom after 10 years of retirement to substitute teach.
She was a longtime member of first Baptist Church of Hurst.
She is survived by her three children: Bobby and his fiancé Patricia Anderson, Linda and her husband Larry Hines, Tommy and his wife, Vicki. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
