Mrs. Helen Diane Mayo, age 79, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 in Columbia, TN. She was a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas and the daughter of the late Elmer Floyd Tennison and Rachel Helen Devinney Tennison. Mrs. Mayo was a member of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN. She was retired from customer relations at Darrell Waltrip Honda Automotive Center in Franklin, TN.
Mrs. Diane loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed deer hunting with her camera. She was an avid golfer. and watching NASCAR races. Most of all she loved her family and being with them every chance she had.
Mrs. Mayo is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Terry Mayo of Chapel Hill, TN: children, Brian (Stephanie) Williams of Murfreesboro, TN, T. J. (Jennifer) Mayo of Joelton, TN, Kacie (Chris) McCool of Redfield, AR; 7 grandchildren, Sophia Williams, Noah Williams, Justin Mayo, Landon Mayo, Evan Mayo, William McCool, Caleb McCool; 1 great grandchild, Lennox Shipe-Williams.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
