Helen Pegoli Obituary

Helen graduated from Mahopac High School in 1953. She was a customer service representative at Reader's Digest in Chappaqua, NY before retiring in 1993 after 36 years. Helen didn't stay retired very long. Following Reader's Digest, she went to work at Mid County Electric in Mahopac before retiring again after 20 years with Mid County.
On August 31, 1968 she married Mario Pegoli at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Carmel, NY where she was a lifelong member. Mario predeceased Helen on June 21, 2005.
Friends are invited attend a visitation on Wednesday, May 17 from 11 am until 12 Noon when funeral services will commence at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel.

Helen was a wonderful person to my children Lori and Darrin Roberts. She and Mario were also the Godparents to my son Darrin. Whenever her and Mario came to visit or her and her friend Pauline, she always would go shopping and by them clothes. She was a very generous person. May she rest in peace. She is now with Mario.
